Maggie Bayly

Summer 2023 Intern
Maggie Bayly is a recent graduate of Bates College in Lewiston, ME where she received her B.A. in psychology and anthropology with a concentration in children, adolescents, and school. Maggie is interested in understanding how different elements of identity change/develop overtime, in particular, the role of race and ethnicity. She is also interested in adolescent mental health and well-being.
During her senior year, she completed two senior theses about Recovery Friendly Workplaces: a public health approach to combating substance use in the workplace, in an effort to support employees in recovery. She plans to pursue a Masters degree in a couple years, possibly in clinical psychology or in public health. Maggie is joining the Center for Evidence-Based Mentoring for her second summer as a Research Assistant and is excited to continue exploring the importance of app-based interventions.
